FAQ Rental

Dream Yachting offers you a selection of premium rigid-inflatables for your sea outing, which you can drive yourself to explore and navigate the French Riviera.
A rigid-inflatable is a motorboat consisting of a rigid hull and inflatable floats (tubes). This type of boat offers superior stability, buoyancy, weight capacity, and passenger capacity compared to a rigid boat of the same size. It is a vessel that is easy to handle, maneuver, and perform well.
A valid boat license in France will be required for your self-drive boat rental, along with the signing of a rental contract.

Dream Yachting offers the option to hire a professional captain onboard for your day, who will take care of navigating you safely to your desired destinations.

All our rigid-inflatables have a maximum capacity of 12 people. Depending on the size of the chosen model, we sometimes recommend a maximum of 8/10 passengers to ensure good onboard comfort. If a captain is hired, they count as an additional passenger.

That’s correct, a young child / baby counts as a passenger according to French maritime law.

Your self-drive boat rental is organized with departure and return at Port Gallice in Juan les Pins. This port is ideally located between Monaco and St. Tropez, allowing you to quickly and easily reach stunning destinations. Our agency is located here, and our team will welcome and assist you. If you hire a professional skipper, it will be possible to start and finish your day at any other port on the French Riviera.

Your daily boat rental is organized from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM during the high season. Some of our models also offer half-day rentals, which are organized from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

You will have the opportunity to easily and quickly reach all the remarkable destinations between Monaco and St. Tropez, such as La Mala, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Nice, Antibes, the Lérins Islands, Cannes, the Esterel Reserve, Pampelonne, and more.

Our boats are equipped with a comprehensive guide of the French Riviera’s maritime area (anchorages, maps, destinations, points of interest, and hazards), as well as a modern and easy-to-use GPS that will help you avoid risky areas and navigate to the most beautiful coves. The person who will accompany you on board and show you how to handle the boat will also be available for practical advice and recommendations at departure, and will be reachable by phone throughout the day to guide you remotely.

There is no Wi-Fi connection on board, but the entire navigation area accessible during your day at sea has good 4G/5G network coverage, giving you internet access.

No problem, the person who will give you the boat briefing and take it back at the end of the day will handle the departure and return maneuvers in the harbor for you.

No worries, a technical expert in navigation will be available and reachable by phone all day to answer your questions and assist you in case of any issues. Our team can also intervene and meet you at sea for physical assistance if the problem cannot be resolved remotely.

Free provision of wakeboard equipment, water skis, cooler, port maneuver assistance, suitable life jackets, technical and safety briefing, discount on parking fees at the port and easy parking, mooring and navigation guide, phone assistance, Bluetooth audio system, modern digital GPS, fresh water shower, and swimming ladder.

If you rent the boat autonomously, we require a security deposit on the morning of your departure to cover any potential damage caused onboard by your group. Also, fuel is not included and will be at your expense. You will start your day at sea with a full tank, and you will be asked to pay for the refuel at the end of the day when you return to the port (our team will be waiting at the fuel station in the port and will assist you with the refueling). Port/parking fees may also be requested if you stop at another port during the day.

You can bring whatever you like on board (food, drinks, water sports equipment, personal belongings) as long as your equipment does not threaten the integrity of the boat. Dogs/pets are allowed and must remain under the supervision of their owner. Any damage they may cause to the boat will be deducted from the deposit.

Absolutely. It is the responsibility of the renter to supervise and manage young children at all times during the day.
Although we can provide this service for people with reduced mobility, it is not recommended for those with very limited mobility, as boarding and disembarking can be difficult and dangerous; access to the water for swimming is only possible via a small ladder located at the back of the boat.

Semi-rigid boats under 10 meters do not have an interior cabin or toilets. Our team is available to offer options for boats with cabins available for rent.

Yes, wakeboard, waterskiing, and towable tubes are activities offered on board with autonomy (a complete safety and usage briefing will be provided at your departure).

If the weather is too dangerous (strong winds, heavy swell, dense rain, thunderstorms), our team will not allow you to go out to sea for obvious safety reasons. In this case, we offer to reschedule your outing to a nearby date (depending on your availability and that of the boat), or a credit valid for one year for the amount of your rental. Cloudy but calm weather is not a sufficient reason to cancel the outing or for a refund.

You will be asked by our team to sign a rental agreement to validate your booking, along with the payment of a deposit / full payment / or a credit card number as a guarantee. The remaining balance and the security deposit will be required on the day of your departure at our office.

Once the rental is confirmed, we cannot cancel your booking without charge, except in cases of force majeure. 50% of the rental amount will be due if the tenant cancels more than 30 days before the departure date, and 100% of the rental amount will be due if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the departure date. If the cancellation is made by the lessor for any reason (and no functional and similar alternative model can be provided on the day of your rental), a credit note or a full refund will be offered.

The vessel is fully insured by the lessor, covering the tenant for damages they may cause to the boat’s body, accessories, engine, as well as theft (full or partial) and hijacking of the boat, and third-party claims for material damage and bodily injury (liability insurance) **up to the deductible amount**. The insurance premium is included in the rental price. This insurance policy does not cover accidents involving passengers on the boat, the loss or damage of the tenant’s personal belongings, and does not cover nautical activities such as towing a buoy. Individual insurance for passengers can be arranged by the tenant for their benefit and at their expense to cover these risks.

The tenant is required to return the vessel to the designated port within the timeframe agreed upon in the rental contract they signed, unless a later mutual agreement between both parties is confirmed in writing. Additional fees apply in case of a delay in returning the vessel by the tenant.

The tenant agrees contractually to use the boat “with due care” and to comply with the regulations of the Maritime Affairs, Customs, and Police of France and the countries visited. They also agree to only embark the authorized number of people and not to navigate the vessel in dangerous or restricted areas.

From early March to the end of October. Off-season sailing is possible upon request.
