You will first be put in contact with one of our specialized brokers, who will be responsible for identifying your main needs: how many passengers you would like to accommodate on board, the destination you wish to visit, the desired rental period, the activities you would like to do, your budget, the type of ship desired, etc. They will then send you a selection of yachts corresponding to your needs, as well as recommendations for itineraries and destinations.

Organising a long stay on a yacht for a successful experience requires precise knowledge of the world of yachting, reliable contacts in various sectors linked to this activity, in-depth expertise of yachts, the operation of charters, destinations and crews, as well as a clear idea of ​​the legality and maritime regulations of different destinations around the world. Choosing a broker also means you can easily build contingency plans in the event of an unforeseen problem during your charter, and defend your interests in the event of any dispute. Of course, our brokers will send you itinerary suggestions based on your wishes. Once your rental is confirmed, they will work closely with your captain to establish a precise and detailed program.

Before your departure and a few weeks before your boarding, your broker will send you a preference list, a detailed questionnaire to be completed by you which will allow you to highlight all the preferences and special requests of each member of your group.  This will cover your dietary restrictions and preferences, allergies, medical needs, requests for special events on board, among other things. This way, the crew will ensure that your charter runs perfectly according to your needs and that the yacht is properly provisioned before you board.

The majority of weekly yacht charter prices are based on MYBA (Worldwide Yachting Association) conditions, and include the rental of the yacht and its crew. All additional expenses related to the charter will be the responsibility of the renter. These contracts ensure that the yacht you have booked is in perfect working order when you arrive, with all the equipment and facilities offered to you before booking.

You will be asked to pay when booking what is commonly called an APA (advance provisioning allowance), an amount which generally ranges between 30 and 40% of the rental price of the yacht, and which will cover all your expenses linked to the charter such as fuel for the yacht and its tender, port costs, miscellaneous purchases, food & drinks, your trips to land, etc. This APA will be given to the captain before the start of the charter so that he can purchase all the provisions necessary for the charter before and during your stay on board. You can request a detailed account of these expenses every day. In any case, at the end of the charter, a final report covering all expenses will be given to you. If the final expenses are higher than the amount of the initial APA planned, then the supplement will have to be paid before disembarkation. If the amount of total expenses is less than the amount of the initial APA, the difference will be refunded to you.

Additional delivery charges may apply to the reservation if you wish to organise the departure/return of your charter in a different port than the base port of the chosen yacht.

A VAT charge may also apply to the reservation depending on the country(ies) where you will start and end your charter.

Finally, some yachts will require a deposit when booking.
