Dream Yachting

Destination: Seychelles

Nestled in the heart of the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles are much more than just a dream archipelago. Their fascinating history dates back millennia, when the first Malagasy explorers discovered these isolated islands. Subsequently, Arab navigators and merchants traveled these waters, bringing with them new cultural influences.

The Seychelles were explored by Europeans as early as the 16th century, first by the Portuguese and then by the French, who established a colony in the 18th century. Under French rule, the archipelago became a thriving commercial center. In 1814, the Seychelles came under British control after the Napoleonic Wars. This colonial history has left an indelible mark on the archipelago, visible in its architecture, cuisine and culture. The Seychelles gained independence in 1976 and since then it has flourished as a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world with its white sand beaches, turquoise waters and unspoilt nature.

Today, Seychelles is not only an idyllic vacation spot, but also a success story in environmental preservation and sustainable development. Visitors are invited to discover the fascinating history of these islands, while enjoying their exceptional natural beauty and warm hospitality.
